Xiaomi has just announced the global rollout schedule for Android 15-based HyperOS 2 released with the previous Xiaomi 15 series.
This information was officially shared by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun through a post on social network X. According to the plan, users of some Xiaomi devices will receive HyperOS 2 this month, including Xiaomi MIX Flip, Xiaomi 14T Pro, Xiaomi 14T, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 13T Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13, POCO F6 Pro, POCO X6 Pro, and POCO X6.
After being available on Xiaomi 15, HyperOS 2 is ready to roll out to other Xiaomi devices.
Then in December, the following devices will receive the HyperOS 2 update, including Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13T, Xiaomi 13 Lite, Xiaomi 12T Pro, Xiaomi 12T, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi 11, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, Redmi K50im, Redmi 13, Redmi 13C, Redmi 13 5G, Redmi 12 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12S, Redmi 12 5G, Redmi 12, POCO C65, POCO X5 Pro 5G, POCO F5, POCO X4, POCO F4, POCO F6, POCO M6, POCO F5 Pro, and POCO C75.
Xiaomi will also update HyperOS 2 for tablets and wearables. Specifically, Xiaomi 6S Pro 12.4 and Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro will receive the update in November. The following tablets will receive the HyperOS 2 update in December, including Xiaomi Pad 6, Redmi Pad Pro 5G, Redmi Pad Pro, Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G, Redmi Pad SE 8.7, Redmi Pad SE, and POCO Pad.
Xiaomi 14T series will receive HyperOS 2 this month.
HyperOS 2 promises to deliver a connected, AI-driven ecosystem with improvements in performance, connectivity, AI features, and privacy. The operating system uses HyperCore - an optimized internal kernel that increases speed, reduces CPU idle time, and improves graphics, serving both everyday use and gaming needs.
HyperConnect enables seamless data and app transfer between Xiaomi devices, while also supporting compatibility with Apple products in China. HyperAI offers user-friendly tools like adaptive lock screens, AI anti-fraud protection, and advanced content creation features like voice-to-text transcription and real-time translation.
Many features coming to HyperOS 2 are confirmed.
HyperOS 2 also introduces a redesigned desktop with customizable widgets, dynamic animations, and a 3D weather system. To ensure privacy, the operating system integrates end-to-end encryption, a trusted execution environment (TEE), and enhanced data controls through the Xiao Ai assistant, giving users transparency and control over their digital footprint.
