Unique computer model for those who love nostalgic experiences.
Lately, the nostalgia for classic video games has been very popular, with the emergence of many emulators and old-style consoles.
For the best experience, users can use the original hardware or an emulator with similar architecture that can play the same games as the original.
Of note today is the recently released Pocket 386 mini computer, created by the maker of the Hand 386 and Book 8088 retro gaming computers.
The Pocket 386 was similar in construction to its predecessor, the Hand 386. It was built around the Intel 386 SX processor, released in 1988 and running at 40 MHz, combined with 8 MB of RAM and a Yamaha sound card.
The device features a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. If needed, users can change the aspect ratio to 4:3 in the settings.
The entire hardware of the computer is brand new, except for the 386 chip. So if you love retro gaming, this is your chance to own brand new retro hardware.
Although there is no trackpad, users can still control the cursor with preset keys. PS/2 ports allow you to connect classic keyboard and mouse models for an enhanced operating experience.
The machine also has a VGA connector for connecting a monitor. Windows 3.11 is used as the software platform. If necessary, users can request the distributor to provide the Windows 95 GHO file to upgrade the system.
The Pocket 386 measures 21 × 12 × 2 cm and comes in two versions with a black or transparent case. It is powered by a 4000 mAh battery.
The retail price of the product is 300 USD (about 7.6 million VND).
