Smartphone manufacturers have recently made efforts to create terminals with thinner bezels to give the feeling of an infinity display.
Apple continues its efforts towards the goal of creating smartphones with infinity displays, and the latest rumors suggest that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be the closest smartphone to a bezel-less format. Information about the bezel size of the iPhone 16 Pro Max once again appeared via confirmation from Ice Universe, one of the sources providing a lot of accurate details about Apple's plans.
In its latest report, Ice Universe claims that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have symmetrical bezels measuring only 1,153 mm thick. If the information is correct, Apple's device will surpass Samsung 's latest smartphone , the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which has a 1.55 mm thick bezel and is the Korean brand's thinnest ever.
After all, if the Galaxy S24 Ultra is currently getting closer to the concept of an infinity screen, then with these measurements, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will surpass that product and become the smartphone closest to a borderless format.
Also in his post on X, Ice Universe continued the comparison between two high-end smartphones and claimed that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will surpass the Galaxy S24 Ultra in terms of frame width. Specifically, Apple's model will have a 2,146 mm wide frame, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 3.38 mm frame. As a result, the upcoming high-end product will be more compact than Samsung's flagship smartphone. All because the iPhone 16 Pro Max's screen width is 77.6 mm, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra's is 79 mm.
Previously, Ice Universe revealed that the measurements of the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be 163 x 77.5 x 8.26 mm, which makes it slightly taller and wider, but also thinner than the iPhone 15 Pro. Max has measurements of 159.9 x 76.7 x 8.3 mm.
