In the penultimate week of May, the smartphone market is once again bustling with three new products about to launch.
iQOO and OPPO will introduce their smartphones in the Chinese market, while Xiaomi will bring the new POCO model to the global market. Below are such products.
POCO F6 series
Starting with the appearance of the smartphone model that Xiaomi is preparing to launch globally. On Thursday, May 23, the Chinese brand will introduce the new POCO F6 series at an affordable price. The new generation will have 2 models, including the basic model and the Pro model. In fact, these models are renamed versions of Redmi Turbo 3 and Redmi K70 respectively, which means POCO F6 will come with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, while the Pro model will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
Both devices will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate and feature a 50MP sensor for the primary sensor in the rear camera setup. Although they share the same 5,000 mAh battery, the POCO F6 will offer fast charging limited to 90W, while the Pro model will have 120W charging.
OPPO Reno 12
Also on May 23, in China, OPPO will officially introduce the new Reno 12 series. Just like the POCO F6, the Reno 12 will arrive in basic and Pro models. What they have in common is the triple camera setup on the back, which includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP telephoto sensor. Both devices come with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.
The difference between the two Reno 12 models is that the Reno 12 will integrate the Dimensity 8250 chip, while the Reno 12 Pro comes with the Dimensity 9200 Plus chip, also from MediaTek. The base model will have 12 GB of RAM, while the higher-end model will increase this capacity to 16 GB.
iQOO Neo 9s Pro
Starting next week, on May 20, iQOO will introduce the Neo 9s Pro model in the Chinese market. In fact, all the specifications of the iQOO Neo9s Pro have also appeared on the web, with the highlights being the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus chip, 5160 mAh battery and 120W fast charging support.
The phone features an OLED display that offers a high refresh rate of 144 Hz. It is a 6.78-inch screen that offers 1.5K resolution. Furthermore, the new iQOO model also has a dual rear camera configuration with two sensors, each providing 50 MP resolution.
